Eryck Abecassis et Cl\u00e9ment Chapillon sont en cours de r\u00e9alisation d\u2019un projet autour de la disparition de la mer Morte. Ils nous pr\u00e9sentent en avant-premi\u00e8re une \u00e9tape des diff\u00e9rents processus engag\u00e9s aussi bien sur le plan de la cr\u00e9ation et de l\u2019innovation artistiques que sur les questionnements d\u2019ordre \u00e9cologique et symbolique.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u00c0 partir du paysage menac\u00e9 de la mer Morte, l\u2019exposition <\/span>I lost myself in the sea of life<\/span><\/i> fait r\u00e9sonner les enjeux \u00e9cologiques dans une exp\u00e9rience visuelle et musicale. Photographies et sons, alt\u00e9r\u00e9s par le sel, racontent \u00e0 la fois la disparition et la possibilit\u00e9 d\u2019une m\u00e9tamorphose. C\u2019est une travers\u00e9e sensible de notre rapport \u00e0 la terre, \u00e0 l\u2019eau et \u00e0 la m\u00e9moire des lieux.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

O\u00f9 trouver l'espoir quand l'eau s\u2019est presque enti\u00e8rement retir\u00e9e ? Peut-\u00eatre dans les strates de sel, o\u00f9 persiste encore un murmure ancestral. Un sel qui impr\u00e8gne le processus m\u00eame de r\u00e9v\u00e9lation : les n\u00e9gatifs s\u2019impr\u00e8gnent de ses cristaux pendant plusieurs mois, et la mati\u00e8re photographique elle-m\u00eame se trouve alt\u00e9r\u00e9e. L\u2019image devient instable, poreuse, suspendue : \u00e0 l\u2019image de l\u2019avenir du monde. Dans cette cristallisation du temps, on ne sait plus si c\u2019est la voix des manuscrits de Qumran qui r\u00e9sonne, ou celle d\u2019un jeune ermite gravant, dans les ruines d\u2019Ein Gedi : \u00ab Je me suis perdu dans l\u2019oc\u00e9an de la vie, une simple goutte retournant au tout \u00bb.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cl\u00e9ment Chapillon<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

 <\/p>\n

Photographe bas\u00e9 dans le sud de la France, <\/span>Cl\u00e9ment Chapillon<\/b> explore les mondes m\u00e9diterran\u00e9ens \u00e0 travers une \u00e9criture visuelle personnelle empreinte de r\u00e9alisme po\u00e9tique. Ses travaux racontent les territoires, leurs habitants et les liens qui les unissent. Laur\u00e9at de plusieurs prix prestigieux – notamment la Bourse Leica aux Rencontres d\u2019Arles, la Fondation des Treilles, la Bourse documentaire du CNAP et plus r\u00e9cemment la Fondation Daniel et Nina Carasso – il a d\u00e9j\u00e0 publi\u00e9 quatre livres photographiques. Membre de la Collection Herm\u00e8s, il collabore r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement avec des m\u00e9dias internationaux tels que The New York Times, Le Monde, Le Temps, L\u2019Obs, Lib\u00e9ration, Polka ou Arte. Son travail a \u00e9t\u00e9 expos\u00e9 dans des galeries et mus\u00e9es en France, en Europe et \u00e0 l\u2019international, t\u00e9moignant de son attachement profond au monde m\u00e9diterran\u00e9en.<\/span><\/p>\n

Compositeur, synth\u00e9tiseur, guitariste \u00e9lectrique, <\/span>Eryck Abecassis<\/b> entreprend son travail dans plusieurs domaines, allant de l\u2019orchestre \u00e0 la musique de chambre, en passant par l\u2019\u00e9lectronique, le cin\u00e9ma, le th\u00e9\u00e2tre, les installations urbaines. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 mandat\u00e9 par Radio-France, la Gmem, l\u2019Ina-Grm, la Grame, l\u2019\u00c9tat, C\u00e9sar\u00e9, Canada, l\u2019Institut fran\u00e7ais. Sa musique a \u00e9t\u00e9 jou\u00e9e dans les Festivals Internationaux de Musique de Pr\u00e9sences, Les Musiques \u2013 Marseille, Montr\u00e9al, Dijon, Grenoble. ll a \u00e9crit de nombreuses musiques de films, de programmes t\u00e9l\u00e9vis\u00e9s et de documentaires. Il a compos\u00e9 pour le th\u00e9\u00e2tre et la danse pour la Cie L\u2019Entreprise, la Cie Mabel Octobre, la Cie Les Passagers. Il a particip\u00e9 au festival Musrara Mix organis\u00e9 par l\u2019Ecole pluridisciplinaire d\u2019Arts et de Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Naggar en partenariat avec l\u2019IFJ Romain Gary.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Oded Rahav est un entrepreneur et militant \u00e9cologiste engag\u00e9 dans la sauvegarde de la mer Morte. Il a fond\u00e9 Dead Sea Guardians, un projet r\u00e9unissant Isra\u00e9liens, Palestiniens et Jordaniens pour sensibiliser \u00e0 l\u2019ass\u00e8chement rapide de la mer Morte, caus\u00e9 notamment par le d\u00e9tournement du Jourdain et la surexploitation des ressources en eau. L\u2019initiative m\u00e8ne des actions de sensibilisation et des projets collaboratifs visant \u00e0 d\u00e9passer les tensions politiques autour d\u2019un enjeu \u00e9cologique commun. Son action la plus marquante est une travers\u00e9e symbolique de la mer Morte \u00e0 la nage, r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par des participants des trois communaut\u00e9s pour attirer l\u2019attention internationale sur cette catastrophe environnementale. Cette aventure est racont\u00e9e dans le documentaire Dead Sea Guardians, r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par Ido Glass et Yoav Kleinman. Le film montre comment ce projet sportif et \u00e9cologique devient aussi une exp\u00e9rience de coop\u00e9ration humaine dans une r\u00e9gion marqu\u00e9e par les divisions politiques.<\/span><\/p>\n
